Helmholz REX 100 Router WAN Connection with VPN Portal

The REX 100 is a router produced by Helmholz, designed to work together with the myREX24 V2 portal for remote programming and maintenance. It also allows for sending alarms via SMS and/or email through digital inputs to the myREX24 V2 portal. The USB host port is used for connecting USB devices via the remote maintenance tunnel (USB-over-IP). The REX 100 WAN is equipped with a WAN port for establishing a connection to the myREX24 V2 portal, and additional Ethernet devices can be connected to the router through the other RJ45 ports available on the integrated 3-port switch. For data transmission, the REX uses an encrypted VPN tunnel based on the secure OpenVPN protocol.
